Opioid Crisis:
We all know someone that the opiate crisis has affected. I will continue to speak with recovering addicts, counselors, families, and law officials for recommendations on what works and what isn't working.
Support Parental Rights:
Every parent wants better for their children. There's a reason why until they reach 18, parents are legally bound to take care of them. I will veto any bill that takes away the rights of the parents providing the parents are not endangering the children. Parents should have the main say in all aspects of their children's lives.
Put NH/America First:
I will work to implement a system where any foreign country that we give aid to will have to pay a surcharge to sell in New Hampshire to offset the taxes we have to pay to support their countries. George Washington, and James Monroe, just to name a few, believed that we should not be overly involved in foreign countries affairs - I strongly agree with this.
Support Veteran Care:
As a former Marine, I will strongly support all areas of Veteran care - a topic which I am very familiar with as I use the VA Healthcare System.
Justice for J6:
The Governor has power to pardon - I have seen others on a Federal level refuse to cooperate with ICE to turn over illegal aliens to the Federal Government. I plan to protect our January Sixers from an unjust system where they are held excessively long without a trial (Unconstitutional per Article Six), and I will refuse to turn them over until they are given their Constitutional rights. I want to ensure this type of thing does not happen again.
Limit Government Spending:
If elected I will form a committee to research excessive government spending in NH, and rid the state of it. The money that goes through the Executive Council twice monthly is absurd - especially all the money that goes out of state for things I believe we could be keeping local.
Enforce the Constitution:
On day one of taking office, I will work to examine all laws and bills current, past, and present to deem which of them are Constitutionally compliant. From then on, I will be vigilant and use the aid of committees and representatives to toss out any Unconstitutional bills.
Lower Taxes:
Taxes are hurting middle class families and forcing people out of their homes. I want to do an in-depth, transparent study on the programs pushing taxes sky high. There is a lot of beaurocratic redundancy that can be cut.
Supporting Homeschooling:
I will meet with an education committee to try to fix proficiency ratings in english, math, and science across the boards, and work to see why the private sector is doing so much better than public schools. I also pledge to protect homeschoolers and their right to teach their children how they see fit. Lastly, I believe that all students graduating should be able to pass the citizenship test, thus encouraging a better knowledge of the Constitution and our God-given unalienable rights as Citizens of the United States.
