Empowering citizens with constitutional values.

I’ve been a mechanic for over 40 years. In that time, I’ve worked on just about everything you can imagine - cars, trucks, machinery, and systems of all kinds. One thing experience teaches you quickly is humility: no mechanic knows everything, and no machine should be altered just because someone thinks they have a better idea.
When you’re dealing with a complex system, you don’t improvise. You respect its design. You consult the manual - not to reinvent it, but to understand its limits, its tolerances, and what it was built to do.
That’s how I view the Constitution.
The Constitution is not a tool for politicians to “fix” society, nor a shortcut to impose new ideas. It is a set of restraints - written to limit power, define jurisdiction, and protect the people from those who govern. When government follows it faithfully, things tend to work. When it ignores it, no amount of experience or good intentions can prevent damage.
Experience matters. But restraint matters more. And a government that respects its limits is far more trustworthy than one that promises to fix everything.

America is strongest when it minds its own business and honors the Constitution that made us a free and self-governing people. For decades, Washington has dragged our nation into foreign conflicts and endless wars that do not directly involve our security, costing trillions of dollars and countless lives while neglecting the needs of our own citizens. I believe it is time to end U.S. involvement in wars abroad, stop sending foreign aid overseas, and focus on rebuilding our country here at home. Just as importantly, power must be returned where it belongs - to the states and to the people. New Hampshire has always stood for independence, local control, and limited federal interference, and I will fight in the U.S. Senate to restore state sovereignty and put America, and New Hampshire, first.

Both our veteran and civilian healthcare systems are failing the people they are meant to serve, but fixing them must be done within the limits of the Constitution. Caring for veterans is a clear federal responsibility, and no one who served this country should face delayed or denied care. For civilian healthcare, including mental health and addiction treatment, solutions should be led by the states and communities closest to the people affected, not imposed by distant federal bureaucracies.
Mental health and addiction issues are too often overlooked until crisis strikes, and I believe states must be empowered - with flexibility, accountability, and local control - to expand access to timely, effective care while the federal government focuses on its proper, limited role.

The federal government has expanded far beyond the limits set by the Constitution, creating agencies and bureaucracies that were never enumerated or authorized by the people.
Institutions such as the Federal Reserve, fusion centers, and other unaccountable entities now exercise enormous influence over our economy, privacy, and daily lives, often operating with little transparency and virtually no meaningful oversight.
This lack of accountability contradicts our fundamental constitutional rights and erodes public trust.
I believe it is time to restore constitutional boundaries, demand full transparency, and hold federal agencies accountable to the people they serve - returning power to the states and reaffirming that no agency stands above the Constitution.

The Constitution makes it clear that enforcing the nation’s borders and immigration laws is a federal responsibility, yet those laws are increasingly being ignored or selectively enforced.
When the rule of law breaks down, the consequences are felt most acutely by states and local communities, which are left to bear the financial and social costs.
I believe that immigration policy must begin with enforcement of the laws already on the books, and that individuals who are in the country illegally should not receive state or federal benefits intended for citizens and lawful residents. Restoring consistent enforcement, accountability, and respect for the law is essential not only to national sovereignty, but to fairness for American workers, taxpayers, and legal immigrants who followed the rules.

Our public education system is failing students, leaving too many unprepared for higher education, careers, and civic life. The Constitution grants parents the primary responsibility for the upbringing and education of their children, yet government overreach and teacher union influence have created a one-size-fits-all system that often undermines critical thinking, creativity, and academic rigor.
I propose expanding homeschooling freedom and strengthening the parents' right to exercise their constitutional role in guiding their children’s education, with flexibility and accountability rooted in the local community. By empowering families and emphasizing academic excellence, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

I want to hear directly from you about the issues that matter most. This is your chance to reach out - email me, message me on social media, and let me know what’s on your mind. No concern is too small or too big for us to tackle together. After all, our government exists because of We the People, and your voice is what drives real change. Let’s work together to make sure it’s heard.
